the planet cafe on brunswick st fitzroy was a vibrant and eclectic bar at the top of a beautiful set of wooden stairs opening into a large room in a loose art deco bohemian style. this is the venue where the world famous make it up club began when ren walters and will guthrie started improvised tuesdays which became miuc when tim o'dwyer became curator. this live recording of bohjass was a part of the melbourne fringe festival in 1999.
